Behind the Scenes
A great deal of work happens behind the scenes
to bring each Savoys performance to life.
Music must be carefully selected, charts written or purchased,
and all parts printed or scanned for the musicians.
Every piece then has to be organized into notebooks or loaded onto iPads.
The band also holds weekly rehearsals to prepare for each show.
On the administrative side, reservations are taken, tickets are sold, emails are sent,
and both the Facebook page and website are kept up to date. Decorations are planned and created for each event, and afterward everything must be taken down,
packed, and stored for the next show.
Mike James creates the Savoys light.

Making the Heart...

Volunteers prepare decorations for each performance.
Tablecloths, centerpieces, wall and stage decorations, backdrops
and photo ops, are all part of the Volunteers' duties. They also sell tickets for the show, sell 50/50 tickets, greet and check-in our guests,
take photographs, run the lights and sound, and help in any way that is needed.

Preparing for a show involves a lot of people doing a lot of things!
The photos below show preparations for our Spring Show.
